Scope of this notice
This notice describes information handling associated with the Olneya, LLC public website. The website is an institutional and informational surface for a private single-family office; it is not a public consumer application or public account service.
This notice does not govern the separate, invite-only Olneya application or a third-party service you choose to visit.
Information associated with a visit
The public website does not currently provide a public registration flow, newsletter, advertising system, or open contact form. When a browser requests a page, hosting, network, and security providers may process ordinary technical data, including:
- IP address and approximate network location;
- browser, device, operating-system, and language information;
- requested URL, referring page, timestamp, and response status; and
- security, fraud-prevention, and diagnostic signals.
Local preference storage
If you choose a visual theme, the site stores that preference in your browser under olneya.marketing.theme.v1. This setting allows the site to remember light, dark, or system appearance. Olneya does not use this key for cross-site advertising or identity profiling.
You can remove the preference through browser storage controls. If removed, the site returns to its default theme behavior.
Client Login boundary
Opening Client Login loads a separate invite-only application in an isolated frame. The public website passes the selected appearance and a short-lived interaction nonce to support that surface. Authentication and private-application data are outside this public-site notice.
Opening the login surface does not create a public account or authorize access.
How information is used
Technical request and security data may be used to deliver pages, preserve availability, detect abuse, investigate errors, maintain security, understand aggregate website operation, and satisfy legal obligations. Olneya does not sell public-site visitor information or use it for behavioral advertising.
Service providers and required disclosure
Technical data may be available to providers that support hosting, content delivery, security, diagnostics, and related website operations under their applicable agreements and policies.
Information may also be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate misuse, or respond to valid legal process. Olneya does not represent that a provider stores data in any particular jurisdiction unless separately documented.
Retention and security
Olneya and its providers may retain technical records for operational, diagnostic, security, recordkeeping, and legal needs. Retention can vary by record type and provider; this notice does not promise a universal deletion period.
Olneya uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the public surface, but no internet transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Choices and privacy requests
You can control local theme storage through your browser, limit browser-provided information, or stop using the website. Privacy rights vary by location and circumstance.
Requests or questions may be sent to accounts@olneya.com. Olneya may need enough information to understand and appropriately verify a request. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, account numbers, or sensitive financial records by ordinary email.
Children and international access
The public website is intended for general institutional information and is not directed to children. Olneya does not knowingly use it to solicit personal information from children.
Visitors may access the site from locations with different privacy laws. Technical data may be processed where Olneya and its service providers operate, subject to applicable requirements.
Changes to this notice
Olneya may update this website notice as the public surface, provider relationships, or applicable requirements change.
The document record identifies the effective date and most recent published update.
